Today

Today is going to be a random post. A lot has happend. My dear dear friend Hettie came back to the ship today. It is so good to have her back and to be able to take very long walks just like we did in Benin.
For a funny story, today I had to draw a crew members blood. Remember that 2 days ago I was working in the dining hall, so when he came down to the lab saw me and realized that I was sticking a needle in him he quickly backed up and his eyes got very wide. It was pretty funny. I didn't want to explain that I drew the labs last year since he didn't know that, but I had to since I'm not sure he would let me anywhere near him.
Today they announced where the ship is going next year. Sierra Leone. It is a country that needs a lot of help and has been in turmoil for awhile. The ship plans to dock there in February 2011 and maybe I'll be on it :)
I got some very good news today that made me dance and cry, but I can't share that yet, so stay tuned for that. I've been trying to go to bed early but my cabinmates are watching a movie and I wanted some computer time but maybe now I'll go finish the movie and sleep. Goodnight.
